TRA laboratories prove and maintain the efficacy of Ultra-Fresh treatments, and perform quality control testing of samples for Ultra-Fresh users.
The Microbiology Laboratory performs tests that demonstrate whether a customer's product demonstrates antibacterial or antifungal properties, or both. All of the microbiological tests run in the TRA laboratories use standard international test methods approved by organisations such as ASTM and AATCC. We also perform a range of tests developed by governments and major international corporations.
The Chemistry Laboratory analyzes the amount of Ultra-Fresh or Silpure in any treated products. They also have a continuous program to develop new antimicrobial treatments to meet our customers’ requirements.
The Applications Laboratory is capable of reproducing industrial processes used by our customers. For example, we can manufacture polyurethane foam, apply Ultra-Fresh onto various types of fabrics, and mold basic plastic parts containing Ultra-Fresh.
TRA values and protects the reputation and integrity of the Ultra-Fresh brand. First-time users undergo an extensive testing period to make sure that Ultra-Fresh is being applied correctly and consistently.
