Polyurethane foam is used in a very wide range of consumer and industrial applications including mattresses, furniture, carpet underlay, automotive parts and kitchen and bathroom sponges.

Polyurethane foam will support the growth of bacteria and fungi. It also provides a home for dust mites.

One of the largest uses of Ultra-Fresh is in polyurethane foam to prevent the growth of microorganisms. Ultra-Fresh controls molds and mildew in mattresses and carpet underlay, keeping them clean and fresh. It also creates an inhospitable environment for dust mites as part of a program of allergy and asthma control.

Ultra-Fresh is added during the manufacturing process of the foam. It is a permanent part of the foam structure.
